ONA were recently contracted to scope and oversee diving operations including measuring and establishing the integrity of mooring chain components in North Queensland. The moorings had suffered a history of problems commencing since installation using second hand equipment. Using best practice mooring integrity and inspection approaches ONA were able to assist our client baseline and establish the future viability of a mooring system. ONA were able to rapidly develop a very explicit scope of work ensuring the diving requirements were exact and clear. Work included contracting of the dive company, scoping all activities and overseeing the execution offshore over two weeks. The scope evolved significantly requiring a high level of responsiveness and understanding of mooring systems.
